THE GRAND FINALE

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Red Velvet ZING Vodka

1/2 oz. Cruzan Vanilla Rum

3/4 oz. Godiva White Chocolate Liqueur

2 Drops of Red Food Coloring

VANILLA WHIPPED CREAM

1/2 Cup Heavy Cream

2 tbsp. Confectioners Sugar

1/2 tsp. Vanilla Extract

PREPARATION:

Red Velvet fever is here! This newer take on chocolate has created a dessert frenzy! Here’s a grown up version for you to enjoy in a glass! This is a terrific addition to your Independence Day barbecues and get togethers!

In a mixing glass add all of the ingredients. Next, shake it hard for 5 fast seconds making sure all ingredients mix thoroughly. Now pour into a chilled cocktail glass and top it off with homemade whipped cream.

To make your Vanilla Whipped Cream you will need to beat the  heavy cream, confectioners sugar and vanilla in a medium bowl with an  electric mixer on high speed until it stiff peaks .

The color is red and white.. now add some blueberries and dried cranberries on a skewer and then you have your patriotic Red, White and Blue! The scent is vanilla and sugary sweet… reminds me of my grandma’s kitchen which was always full of fresh baked goods!  The flavor is rich and smooth, and don’t forget you are drinking your dessert right now … let’s raise the glass and enjoy the fireworks and say cheers to this special day for America …Salute!
