Floral Bourbon Breeze

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 oz bourbon

0.75 oz Aperol

0.5 oz Italicus

0.5 oz fresh citrus juice (lemon or lime)

Elderflower foam (to top)

Ice cubes

Citrus wheel and fresh herb, for garnish

PREPARATION:

Combine 1.5 oz of bourbon, 0.75 oz of Aperol, 0.5 oz of Italicus, and 0.5 oz of fresh citrus juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and thoroughly mixed.

Strain the mixture into an old, ornate vintage tumbler filled with crushed ice. Top the cocktail with a generous layer of elderflower foam for a delightful aromatic and visual touch.

Garnish with a citrus wheel and a fresh herb sprig, such as mint or basil, to enhance the presentation and add a subtle herbal note.
