Spiced Hibiscus

INGREDIENTS:

1.5 oz rum

0.75 oz Italicus

0.75 oz hibiscus syrup

0.5 oz fresh lemon juice

2-3 dashes habanero tincture

Ice cubes

Lemon twist, for garnish

PREPARATION:

Combine 1.5 oz of rum, 0.75 oz of Italicus, 0.75 oz of hibiscus syrup, 0.5 oz of fresh lemon juice, and 2-3 dashes of habanero tincture in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until the mixture is well chilled and thoroughly mixed.

Strain the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist by expressing the oils over the glass before placing it on the rim.

Serve the Spiced Hibiscus Daiquiri immediately, enjoying the harmonious blend of rum's smoothness, Italicus' floral complexity, the sweet-tart flavor of hibiscus syrup, and the bright citrusy freshness of lemon juice.
