KENTUCKY SLING

INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Bourbon Whiskey

1/2 oz. Luxardo Liqueur

1/2 oz. Pineapple Puree 

1/2  Lemon (to SQUEEZE!)

3/4 oz.  Soda Water 

Served On the Rocks

GARNISH: Dried Lemon Wheel,  Dried Pineapple Wheel and a Maraschino Cherry

PREPARATION:

In a mixing glass place all the ingredients, EXCEPT  for Soda Water.. leave that out for now. Add ice and shake hard  for 5 fast seconds and then pour  it all, including ice, into a long drink glass. Now top it off with the Soda Water and your fruity garnish. Done! So easy and delicious! Have you ever had a Singapore Sling? Well this is the American version of it!

The color is a vibrant and beautiful reddish pink…  the scent is a mixture of tropical heaven hugged by the warmness of the Bourbon. The taste is summery and refreshing..  the acidity of the lemon balances the sweetness of the Luxardo liqueur and pineapple with a Kentucky kick of whisky… oh it’s there and you are going to feel it… all the way to Singapore!
