THE GENTLEMEN

 INGREDIENTS:

1 oz. Fresh Squeezed Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice

1/2 oz. Passoa Liqueur or Any Passionfruit Liqueur

1 oz. Melon flavored Vodka

Top with 3/4 oz. Lemon Schweppes or Lemon Soda

GARNISH:

Grapefruit Peel

PREPARATION:

Ladies and Gentlemen, November is Movember! This is the month where we are having fun and doing something good! Men around the world grow mustaches to show support and to have an everlasting impact on mens health. This month, I have made a cocktail to show my support.

In a shaker place the first three  ingredients listed in the recipe.  Make sure to use Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit Juice… and if possible make your own. Add a scoop of ice and shake hard for 5 fast seconds.

Now serve it on the rocks in a mustache designed glass and top it off with the Lemon Schweppes or Lemon Soda and garnish with a nice Grapefruit Peel.

The color is bright pink in true Movember spirit and the scent is a mixture of the sweet notes of the melon and the citrusy tart notes of the Grapefruit. The taste is light, refreshing and delicious.  This drink would be ideal as an Apertivo. Lip smacking good.. or shall we say MUSTACHE SMACKING GOOD! Salute!
