COSMO DOGGERY

INGREDIENTS:

1 ½ oz. Mandarin Vodka

3/4 oz.  Triple Sec

2 lime wedges

Splash of Fresh Squeezed Orange juice  

ORANGE FOAM INGREDIENTS :

6 oz. Egg White

6 oz.  Sweet and Sour

1 oz. of Mandarin flavoring 

GARNISH: 

Orange Foam & dried orange slice

PREPARATION:

Do you love to drink the classic Cosmopolitan? Well if you don’t I suggest you watch some Sex and the City episodes! For all the Carries, Samanthas, Mirandas, Charlottes and their men… here is my twist!

This is the Doggery (cheap saloon!) Version…. sans the Cosmos signature cranberry.

In a mixing glass add the Mandarin Vodka and Triple Sec (or any orange liqueur.) Now squeeze in two lime wedges and drop them in and add a splash of orange juice. Grab your shaker and and now shake it all for 5 fast seconds (insert S.A.T.C. theme music) and strain into an icy cold martini glass. Now we are going to make the delicious Orange Foam. Place Orange Foam ingredients into a siphon and charge it with one cartridge of CO2 shake. If you do not have a siphon at home you can mix all the ingredients and whipped in a Kitchen aid machine. Now top your cocktail off with your fresh Orange Foam and a dried Orange Slice.

The color is peachy orange, the fresh sweet citrus and Mandarin notes highlight the nose. The taste is refreshing and clean yet very intriguing. This is the perfect drink to pair with a nice seafood dish…or while you are watching your favorite episode of Sex in the City!
