BANANA HAMMOCK

INGREDIENTS:

1 1/2 oz. Monkey Rum Coconut

3/4 oz. Pineapple Juice

3/4 oz. Banana Liqueur

Fresh Banana (half)

Fresh Pineapple (half of a slice)

Coconut Ice Cream (one scoop)

GARNISH :

2 tbs. Homemade Caramel Sauce

1 Banana Peel and some strings….

PREPARATION:

I created this drink in honor of Speedo lovers and haters everywhere. I loved you Speedo but now I’m American and I’ve learned that here the Speedos are treated very differently. It’s been a learning curve and I have mourned many of my Speedos… may they rest in peace.

Are you planning a weekend out in the sun? Maybe poolside in a banana hammock of your own? Well I have just the drink for you!

Add all ingredients into your blender and blend on medium (no ice!!) until you have a creamy and smooth consistency. The scoop of ice cream and the fresh fruit will give this a thick texture, like a milkshake that you could even serve with a spoon. Perfect for a hot summer day! Pour into a chilled Pina Colada glass and top with homemade caramel.

The color is off white, creamy like coconut.  Close your eyes and the scent will take you to the most delicious of island bliss complete with palm trees, white sandy beaches and clear ocean waves. The taste is all kinds of tropical delicious.. banana, coconut, pineapple heaven with rich caramel. Ice cold, sweet, refreshing and satisfying.

Just like a Speedo, this drink is a real attention getter and conversation starter.
